Every day, you and me, (and men) are preened by the news, magazines and Internet to think poorly about ourselves.

We’re told we need the latest razors, anti-aging cream, and hair products. From a certain age were expected to hold certain standards and look a certain way. It starts from a very young age, too.

It’s no wonder then that I grew up feeling shameful about my body and my self-image. I went through years of debilitating shyness, lack of confidence and anxiety.

I blame some of this on the kind of person I thought I was supposed to be.

Truth be told, as I’ve grown older (and more mature – ha I wish), this feeling has waned. I no longer feel the pressure I used to look a certain way.

I’ve learned that lot over the years so I thought I’d share some of my coping tactics with you.

I’ve had something on my mind recently. Yep, you guessed it, it’s anxiety.

I thought I’d switch things up a little bit today.

Mental health really does affect huge numbers of us. It’s the woman sat across from you on the bus.

It’s a colleague who you’ve never really spoken to before. It’s your manager who keeps it well hidden.

The thing is because so many of us suffer on our own, I’ve made it my mission to change this. I want both women and men to be able to talk about it more. Why should we all suffer on our own? It’s not fair and it’s not right.

So, I want to ask something of you. I created the below infographic as a way of spreading the message. Never mind the fact that I love creating images… Haha.

But please help me share and spread the word. Let’s keep talking about anxiety and mental health, to allow others to talk about it easier.

So many women approach me and explain they are suffering by themselves. It really does break my heart knowing this, too.

The more I delve into the subject, the more interested I become, and the more I want to help.

So, share this with your friends and family, or with whoever you think might benefit from this. It includes helpful tips to managing anxiety too.

Let’s get chatting!

Oh and by the way, if you like this you can still grab my new ebook! Just click here to check it out now.
